Main Road market - this sunday!

Hi everyone, this sunday brings us a fantastic one off Christmas market- 'Main road market' The first block of Main Rd Bakery hill will be blocked off with live music, delicious food and wine, local produce and fantastic boutique stalls! Janey and Kipp will be there- I can't wait, it's going to be such a fantastic day. Let's just hope the weather comes to the party! Oh by the way- it's on from 2-6pm and will be a great family afternoon out.See you there X

A sneak peak at some market goodies!

Here is a little peak at a few things I have been busy making for this Sundays market. The Sugar and spice children's market is on this Sunday- the 28th at St Alipius hall (76 Victoria st). The market is on from 9-1pm and I would love you to come along and say hi!

Sorry about your shirt husband!

My first project on my new sewing machine that I recieved for my 30th birthday. (I once swore I would never own a machine!) The idea to use a cut up shirt for the back of the cushion came from Pip Lincolne from 'meet me at mikes'. when I saw it I was so excited - I love to create things, but tech things like doing button holes I have no patience for! Thanks to Cracker for his old mambo shirt. I can't wait to make some kids cushions for upcoming markets(promise I'll buy some op shop ones!)

I'm going to be in a book!

Janey and Kipp will be featured in a beautiful book showcasing handmade products from Australian designers. The book is not available until Dec 4th but you can pre-order your own copy now. Would make a great christmas present for the crafty in your life!

Notebook anyone?

This is a 30 page spiral bound notebook with a vintage childrens illustration on the front cover. A perfect little gift for someone who has just had a baby to record details of their baby's movements and maybe a few photos. Could also be a great gift for a kiddie with a set of pencils!
